As I mentioned previously, when I was younger I did not worry about losing weight. In fact, my doctors were worried that I was underweight!
As I’ve gotten older, my metabolism has slowed down, and I had some major life changes. I got married, had kids, and stopped going out dancing at the night clubs every weekend! My family did not enjoy doing any of the physical activities that I enjoyed, so my exercise program went all to pieces. Eventually health issues involved me taking medicines that slowed my metabolism down, and I was too busy working 50 hours a week to support my family and taking night classes at college and raising two sons single handedly to be able to “set aside” time for an exercise regime.
I tried hard to eat as healthy as I could, but IBS with diarrhea my doctors kept telling me to avoid the fruits and vegetables that healthy diets tell you to fill up on! So, what’s a poor woman to do?
My sister told me about a website called http://www.weight-loss-diet-help.com/ that lists a large number of the popular diet plans. It provides a quick and efficient method of looking at the different ones and comparing the different features. They list diets such as the Nutrisystem diet, the Weight Watchers System, and the South Beach Diet, just to name a few. She even told me to check out Medifast if you don’t like shopping for groceries, counting calories or cooking meals which is another diet program that they talk about.
She has advised me to check them out and see if any of that information helps me. So I guess that is exactly what I’ll be doing!
