I only get paid every two weeks, and it is a challenge to stretch the money from check to check. I’m glad that I have a software program, MS Money to help me track and plan my income and expenses!
I’d be having a much more difficult time keeping all of my bookkeeping straight without it!
I know a lot of people use a similar program called Quicken, but I’ve never used that. The MSMoney that I use came pre-loaded on my computer, and I liked it, so I’ve just always used that.
Even though today is payday, I’m going to be avoiding going shopping today – the stores are always so crowded on Fridays because so many people go shopping the same day they get paid. I guess they have a tougher time living from check to check and just can’t wait another day or two to go shopping. Either that or they are the kind of people whose money “burns a hole in their pocket” and they just feel compelled to spend it the moment they get it!
