If I knew THEN what I know NOW

I might not have been in such a rush to “grow up” and “be on my own.”

Isn’t it ironic how fast kids want to look older and “more grown up” and are anxious to become legal adults and be their “own boss,” and once they actually DO grow up they start to realize that being an adult really is not as much fun as they imagined it would be?

So many decisions, so many responsibilities, and not being able to run to their parents to “fix” whatever the problem of the month might be.  Although I married at an older age than my sisters, and my girlfriends, if I knew THEN what I know NOW I might have been a whole lot slower to get married at all.

My son’s social life – or lack thereof

Since we moved into the area, my son has had a hard time meeting people to begin a social life here.  He is feeling a little bit lost and lonely lately.  We live in a rural area without a lot of activities “going on.”  My son wants to start dating, but is concerned about the lack of opportunities in the area to meet people.  He really doesn’t know where to start.

I suggested that we check out some of the Internet sites that designed to help people obtain a social life.  I think that using the Internet is a valuable resource in today’s world  to meet singles.

We looked for a website that would act as a guide to the Internet dating sites.  We found a site http://www.primedatingsites.com  that seems to fit the requirements.

I’ve been seeing a lot of television commercials about chemistry.com, and saw that the website had a review page on that.  So I encouraged him to read the Chemistry.com review page

I’ve also seen commercials about eharmony.com, so I suggested that he review that page too.

I hope that our checking out this site together will give him the courage that he needs to start the process of meeting people his own age so that he can start to enjoy life here.

Multi-grain Cheerios

I like the Multi-Grain Cheerios.  They taste good and are good for you.  However, I find that a lot of times the store is sold out!  I guess that means a lot of other people like it too!

My sister-in-law is always trying new health trends

I have a sister-in-law who is always trying new health trends.  Every time I talk to her, she is telling me about a new regimen she is using, or new vitamins, or a new diet.  She is very worried about getting old, and is always looking for the fountain of youth.  She is in her fifties now, and wants to be as healthy and active as she was in her twenties.

She has been telling me that she is considering using Human Growth Hormone as a supplement to her regimen of “staying young and healthy.”  She told me that if I was interested in learning more about it, to go to the website http://www.growthhormone.co.uk/.
