My brother is starting to look for a used car to buy for his wife when she joins him in England.  One of his neighbors has been taking him to different dealers, helping him to see what kind of used cars are available, giving him advice and support.  He has also been doing some Internet research and has found a website at www.buyyourcar.co.uk/ that he thinks is very helpful and informative.

He says that they have a very user friendly easy search feature where you can plug in what make and model car you are looking for and it will give you information about where you can buy that particular car and the prices that it is selling for.  The search feature also asks you questions about whether you want to buy from a dealer or through a private sale.  You can sort the search results by a variety of choices; from lowest price to highest price, latest offers, or distance.

He said that there is also a really good advice section that tells you what to look for in a used car; what questions to ask the owner that is selling the car, safe buying tips, and an 18 point buyers’ check list.  The website also gives great advice on how to avoid being scammed by a used car seller.
