Nieces and nephews are growing up

As I was saying, it’s nice to be able to be keeping in touch with my sisters and find out who is doing what.  The biggest news of the month so far in the family is how one of my nieces is starting to reach adolescence.  She is not happy about it, either!  She would prefer to stay a child forever and not ever have to worry about shaving or deodorant or Acne Treatment.  She has started to observe those horrid body changes that made us all so insecure when we were in school!

I’ve suggested to my sister that she sit her daughter down at their computer and check out the www.acne.com website.  That website has a lot of information about skin care and acne and Proactive acne treatment that would be good for my niece to learn about!

Family matters

I’ve been really lucky to be in frequent contact with my sisters lately, sharing with them news about who is doing what, how all of our kids are doing, who is moving where, who is feeling ill and who is doing better.  It’s really good to be able to vent to them when I’m frustrated and be a crying towel for them when they need me!  I’m glad I have sisters I’m close to!

Making a little bit of money

I’ve been looking for a part time job that would not be physically demanding, would have flexible hours, and allow me to work at home.  I have seen some television news stories about word of mouth marketing companies; these are companies that have decided to try to market their product through word of mouth promotions.  The news stories have talked about how successful that type of marketing is.

There is a word of mouth marketing Internet website that focuses on word of mouth marketing through bloggers.  It is called PayPerPost.  They have a pretty extensive website about word of mouth advertising and word of mouth ethics.  My sister told me about the company and I signed up for it, hoping to make a little bit of money.  I have been doing it for a short while, and made a little bit of money advertising for them.  I use the money to buy gasoline and groceries, so the money has come in handy!

It was pretty easy to do at first, but it is getting harder because the opportunities available to me to take to post for pay have pretty much dried up.  It seems that over the past three or four days there just aren’t any opportunities available to take for me to make any money!  I have enjoyed doing most of the blogging posts and I sure hope that the opportunities start to come in again.

Superpowers

Last night my son asked me “if you could have ONE superpower, what would it be?”   Apparently he had seen a poll on the Internet asking that question!  Well, that is really a hard question!  I’d like to have a BUNCH of them!  I’d like to be able to fly, I’d like to be able to perform mind control (You WILL clean your room!) I’d like to be invisible, I’d like to be invulnerable, I’d like to be able to perform telekinesis!  Jeez, to pick only ONE!

I think of all of the potential super powers that are “available” to choose from, I think I’d have to go with telekinesis!  I think it would be really cool to be able to move objects just by thinking about moving them!
