I’ve met several couples who have retired, sold their “real” house, bought New RVs and spent their retirement years travelling the country in an RV. That sounds like the perfect retirement plan to me! I’d love to do exactly that same thing! I like to go to RV shows and check out all of the different RVs on the market. I especially like the ones that have the slide-out living room features. There are a lot of RVs out there that are nicer than my “real” house! I’ve been looking at the website www.rvs.com and checking out all of the new and used RVs and motorhomes that they have for sale. Just looking at all of the options makes me really want to sell my house and move into a RV so bad I can just taste it!

I’d love to retire someday soon
I like to fantasize about what life would be like when I retire from work. I’m tired of working, and I am fast approaching “retirement age.” Although in today’s economy, I’m afraid that I’ll have to work for ten years after I die! They’ll have to prop me up at some receptionist’s desk and hang a sign around my neck that says “please use the computer touch screen on the counter to sign in for your appointment.” My paycheck will just be direct deposited, and my bills paid automatically through my bank’s e-bill payment service, and no one will even know! I hope they get a skilled taxidermist to make me look good while I’m working!
I like shopping online for gifts
Shopping for Christmas gifts during the holiday shopping season lost its appeal to me a long time ago. I know that there are a lot of great bargains to be had on black friday at the stores, but waiting in line for hours and fighting the crowds drives the Christmas spirit right out of me! That is why I’m so happy to have discovered a great website called www.black-friday.net. That website has listings of the black friday deals at all of the retailers that I like to shop at, such as Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Macy’s, JC Penney, Circuit City, Kohls, Ikea, and Toys R Us (just to name a few!). This website lets you find out what the deals are and order them online so you don’t have to even leave the house! And it allows you to register for their email service where they will send you emails with the latest great shopping deals, so you won’t miss out on a single great deal.
I don’t remember having to buy a single Christmas present at the store last shopping season because I was so successful buying my gifts over the Internet. Sure, I went to a few stores just to soak up the atmosphere of the Christmas spirit looking at the decorations, but I never had to stand in line to buy a single item!
I love the Internet!
Holidays are approaching already!
I have a large extended family, and several years ago we agreed to drawing names for Christmas presents instead of having to buy a gift for everyone. Most people said they did not want to ignore Christmas completely or simply exchange cards, so drawing names seems like the best compromise. Every year my sister calls everyone up to verify who is participating or not, and then she draws the names and lets people know who was drawn for them. We do it early in the years so that we can take advantage of sales throughout the year, or for those crafters in the family, gives them plenty of time to make the gifts.
