My kids want a new computer to play games on. We are constantly competing with each other for computer time on the one computer we have. I need to use it to do bookkeeping and pay bills, they want it to do schoolwork and play games. Money is pretty tight, so we are going to be buying a DIY computer kit. It includes easy to read instructions on How to Build a Computer, and all the parts we will need. All we need is a screwdriver to put it together. We will be able to upgrade it in the future if we decide we need to upgrade it. Buying a computer kit will save us hundreds of dollars compared to buying one at a retail store.

Memorial Day
I understand how so many people associate Memorial Day as a happy holiday from school and work, it seems to mark the beginning of summer (and in a lot of states the beginning of “tourist season.”) Parties and cookouts and parades seem to be the order of the day. However I think it is very important to give pause and remember that this day is SUPPOSED to be about giving respect and homage to our military men and women who lost their lives fighting one of our way-too-many wars.
