I keep hearing on television today that McCain keeps saying that Obama is going to raise everyone’s taxes. I don’t understand why John McCain thinks that by going around the country telling people that Obama is going to raise everyone’s taxes that is going to make him win the race. If people take a look at what Obama is going to do, he is going to raise taxes on RICH people and lower taxes on everyone else, then people should catch onto the fact that McCain is either badly misinformed at best, or outright lying at worst.

Well, the slinging has started!
I was listening to the news a few minutes ago and was hearing an interview with John McCain who was “replying” to the charge that if he were to be elected president that it would be like a 3rd term by George Bush by saying that if Obama is elected it will be like a 2nd term by Jimmy Carter.
I don’t think that is true, and I think that Jimmy Carter got a bum rap. It looks like the mud-slinging has started already! It’s gonna get ugly!

Disturbing emails
Every Presidential election season, my friends and family deluge me with hateful emails slamming the candidates that I am endorsing. I ask them to NOT do that, but they do it anyway. That puts a strain on our relationship, and makes me sad that they cannot respect my wishes by not slamming “my” candidate. I don’t “slam” their candidate!
It makes me want to avoid those people, which is hard to do for such a long period of time!

Pressure on Clinton to drop out of presidential race
I would love to see Hillary Clinton become the president, but right now it doesn’t look like that is going to happen. There sure seems to be a lot of pressure for her to drop out of the race! If that happens, I will still vote the Democrat ticket because I generally agree with the social policies that the Democratic tickets endorse.
But, I sure do wish that Clinton would win the race! Primarily because I like her health plan better than Obama’s health plan.
